I studied at Stafford College of Art and currently teach City & Guilds courses in Patchwork and Quilting, Embroidery and Creative Computing. I am very active as a textile designer maker. Finding space for my own work is important as I believe that it maintains my creativity and in turn feeds my teaching. New directions involve not only textiles, but digitally manipulates images. I use the computer as a drawing tool to modify existing designs or create entirely new ones. These sometimes exist as prints on paper or become transferred to fabric as an integral element of my quilted textiles.
